Hi, I’m Lorelei, so nice to meet you!

I’m a romance author, and dad bod romance is pretty much my favourite thing ever since I started writing in 2012.

The idea for this website came to me during Covid, but I was struggling pretty hard with my mental health (and writing) at the time. It never quite materialised. I tried again sometime in 2022, and much like the first time, something came up and I abandoned the project. But I never gave up on it entirely; it always stayed in the back of my mind.

I want to do this thing justice, you see. Because this is important to me! I’ve been writing since 2012, and pretty much from the beginning I had a wealth of story ideas featuring larger heroes. It’s always been a thing for me, but unfortunately, I felt quite alone in this space. It wasn’t until 2020, when I saw some other authors come out with similar books. Things really went nuts in 2021, when the first multi-author Dad Bod series came out on Amazon Kindle Unlimited. Dad bod heroes are hitting the mainstream, an I’m so here for it!

So, 2025 is the year. I’m doing this thing at last. I’m in the process of collecting all the books I can find and listing them here. In time, I hope to create a wealth of information, a real reader hub for lovers of dad bod romance like you to help you discover your next larger-than-life book boyfriend! And perhaps find a new favourite author in the process as well. I’m so glad you’re joining me on this journey 🙂
